Support for Young People

At TICS we recognise the need for dedicated support for young people who have faced trauma in their lives or are deemed as vulnerable, especially those who may not have access to the same level of family privilege and support as their peers.

In recognising these vulnerabilities, we also want to work with the strengths that young people bring. Our model of support ensures the gentle building of trust, consistency and an environment to foster growth, empowerment, and acknowledgement of self-worth.

We work under the knowledge of the need for individualised recognition of care and support, that can be transferred into group and individual settings.

Using trauma-informed coaching and empowering practices, we aim to provide resources for young people to take control of their life journeys with practical and emotional outcomes.

Current areas of expertise and ongoing programmes within the team are:

* Care leavers and wellbeing
*Youth Coaching
*Co-production skills and environments with young people
