Sophie Tales is an Associate Assistant Principal who has worked within mainstream, special, primary and secondary schools as a teacher and leader. Within her present role, Sophie supports schools to develop a culture of inclusivity and trauma awareness. 

Sophie helps schools with their strategic vision for SEND, behaviour and safeguarding by reviewing whole school processes, developing senior leaders, working with families, delivering whole school training and writing reports towards statutory assessment of SEND. 

Sophie’s passion is working with schools to support the communities they serve. Her work within schools focuses on social mobility and trauma; educating staff on the impact of lived experiences to provide toolkits of support for both staff and young people.
